Turkey Sausage and Shrimp Pilaf


Just made some up for dinner tonight! Yummy!!


1 lbs of cooked shrimp
1 lbs of Turkey Sausage and Ground Turkey mixed
1/2 cup of chopped bell peppers
6oz. can tomato paste
2 cups chicken broth
1/4 cup green onions
1/2 cup chopped celery and celery greens
2 cups water
1/4 tsp white pepper
2 tsp chili powder
2 fresh Bay Leaves
1 1/2 cup uncooked brown rice
1 1/2 tbs butter
1 clove garlic

Start you rice with 2 cups water and 1 cup chicken broth, and butter. Put some extra virgin olive oil in pan and fry up Ground Turkey and Turkey Sausage then set aside. Now fry up garlic, onions, green peppers, celery; once veggies are soft add some broth. Now add your turkey to the veggies and Bay Leaves, and slowly add tomato paste and chicken broth. Next add shrimp and rice and simmer on low. Enjoy!!
